Student Activities

Student Government Association

NUNM has an active SGA comprised of students from the ND and CCM departments, voted in yearly to board and liaison positions to serve for the benefit of NUNM students. The SGA serves as a liaison between the students, administration and the academic departments at NUNM. In addition, SGA oversees and provides funding for the many students clubs and organizations at the university.

NUNM Clubs & Organizations

NUNM has many active student groups on campus overseen by the Student Government Association (SGA). These include professional organizations, as well as clubs of common interest and leisure. Students are encouraged to start a club in their interest area! SGA will even donate monies to get the movement going. View a list of current clubs and organizations at NUNM.

Peer Mentor Program

The first year of graduate school involves many changes. In addition to entering a rigorous academic program, this may include a geographic move or incorporating a student schedule into an established life in Portland. The changes are exciting and may at times be overwhelming. To assist in the transition, NUNM has a tradition of mentoring first year students. We offer the pairing of continuing students with incoming students to help them navigate their way through the first year at NUNM.
