All candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university, or the equivalent (as determined by NUNM) from an institution outside the United States. No specific major is required and there is no advantage to having a bachelor of art or bachelor of science degree.
The Master of Science in Integrative Mental Health will not qualify students to sit for licensing exams as a professional counselor. Therefore, candidates must be concurrently enrolled in a clinical degree program at NUNM (ND, MSOM or DSOM). Graduates of this program will be prepared to more effectively address mental health care within the scope of their individual license.
